Rippa Rugby

A very excited group of year 3 and 4 children met in the hall because it was Rippa day. We played Rippa rugby. It was a new game for all of us. There was a red team and a blue team with 9 players in each team. The players wore a belt with a flag around their waists. The object of the game is to score a try. The player can be stopped from scoring a try when the defending team rips his flag from his belt. The referees were Mr.Letufuga and Whaea Maria. It was a good experience for me.
