Rugby World Cup 2011 Parade

It was an exciting day for the children of Otahuhu Primary. Everyone was dressed in the colours of the country they supported.
Can you guess which country Room 24 supported?  It was Ireland. We wore green T shirts and painted the Irish flag on our faces. We made Ireland's flag in class. The girls wore green, white and orange headbands. Thomas, was the captain of the Irish team. He  made a green top hat and glued a shamrock design on it.  Thomas led the class up to the stage and we paraded to the anthem of Ireland. Regan, Krisharti, Catherine,Timote  and Vondra shared important facts about Ireland.
Everyone cheered and clapped as each class paraded on the stage. The hall was very colourful with children waving their flags. Moziah won a prize for wearing the best costume. What an awesome day!
